  • God has spoken.
  • We must pay very close attention to what God said.
  • If we don’t, we might drift away.
2 -4 
  • God saves sinners.
  • Salvation is great.
  • The first we ever heard of salvation was from God.
  • Using miracles and giving supernatural abilities, God proved the words these people were bringing were from Him.
  • Throughout history, things angels have said always came true.
  • Sins have always been punished.
  • Punishment is unavoidable for those who neglect salvation.
  • It was God’s will to speak of salvation and for the hearers to confirm it to others.

  • During the coming millennial kingdom, the world and mankind will no longer be in subjection to angels.

  • God is so awesome, it’s hard to comprehend that He thinks about us, even takes care of us!

  • Mankind is a little lower than the angels.

  • In his suffering, Jesus fulfilled God’s will perfectly.
  • We were made for Jesus.

  • Everything was.
  • Jesus brought some of us to glory.
  • Jesus is captain of our salvation.
11-12
  • The Lord and those He sets apart are united as one.
  • The Lord is our Brother.
  • The Lord declares God’s Name to those who He draws to Himself.
  • When amidst men, Jesus sings praises to God.
  • We are united with the Lord.
  • Jesus is not ashamed to call believers his brothers and sisters.
  • The Lord declares God’s Name to believers.
 13 
  • Jesus trusts in God.
  • Jesus brings to God those God gave to Him.
 14-15
  • Jesus became flesh like we are.
  • He died in order to destroy Satan (who had the power of death) and to free those who had feared death and so were enslaved.
  • Jesus became flesh like we are.
  • Satan had the power of death.
  • Jesus destroyed Satan.
  • Jesus died to free any who through fear of death are enslaved.

  • God doesn’t help angels.
  • God helps Christians.
