Belief Matters

 

John 4:23 the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers.

Ps. 28: 5  Because they do not regard the works of the Lord Nor the deeds of His hands, He will tear them down and not build them up.

Eph. 1:22  And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church

Gen. 13:4b  there Abram called on the name of the Lord.

Gen. 15:6  Then he believed in the Lord; and He reckoned it to him as righteousness.

John 3:17-18  God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. 18 He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Psalm 2:2-4   The kings of the earth take their stand And the rulers take counsel together Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, “Let us tear their fetters apart And cast away their cords from us!” He who sits in the heavens laughs, The Lord scoffs at them.

Psalm 5:10-11  Hold them guilty, O God; By their own devices let them fall! In the multitude of their transgressions thrust them out, For they are rebellious against You. 11 But let all who take refuge in You be glad, Let them ever sing for joy; And may You shelter them, That those who love Your name may exult in You.

Psalm 9:17  The wicked will return to Hades, Even all the nations who forget God.

Psalm 10:13-14  Why has the wicked spurned God?  He has said to himself, “You will not require it.”  14a You have seen it, for You have beheld mischief and vexation to take it into Your hand.

Isaiah 55:6-7  Seek the Lord while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way And the unrighteous man his thoughts; And let him return to the Lord, And He will have compassion on him, And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.
