Psalm 15

Psalm 15 (paraphrased):

O Lord, who may live with You—near Your perfection?

THIS PERSON:

Honest So you will walk in the way of the good and keep to the paths of the righteous. For the upright will inhabit the land, and those with integrity will remain in it

Pr. 2:20-21 

Does good things And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

Gal. 6:9

Truthful Therefore, having put away falsehood, let each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor, for we are members one of another.

Eph. 4:25

Doesn’t lie about others Whoever slanders his neighbor secretly I will destroy.

Ps. 101:5

Does not wrong others Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

Doesn’t instigate conflict Now the works of the flesh are evident: …enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions…

Respects those who fear God Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood.

1 Pet. 2:17

Keeps his word even if it costs him If a man vows a vow to the Lord, or swears an oath to bind himself by a pledge, he shall not break his word. He shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth.

Num. 30:2

Lends without charging interest They are to… be generous and ready to share

1 Tim. 6:18

Doesn’t take bribes And you shall take no bribe, for a bribe blinds the clear-sighted and subverts the cause of those who are in the right.

Ex. 23:8

He who does these things will never be shaken.
