GET YOUR FEATHERS IN A TWIST.  BE DEFENSIVE. From Galatians 5:19-21  The acts of the flesh are obvious: …hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions… those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. = – = James 1:19-20  But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger; for the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God.			CHILL.  FORGIVE UNILATERALLY. Proverbs 19:11 Good sense makes one slow to anger, and it is his glory to overlook an offense. = – = Matthew 6:14-15   For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions. = – = Matthew 5:22a  But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment
GOSSIP. Proverbs 16:28   A perverse man stirs up dissension, and a gossip separates close friends. = – = Proverbs 26:20  Without wood a fire goes out; without gossip a quarrel dies down.	REMAIN STAGNANT IN YOUR SIN. Ephesians 4:31-32  Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you	APOLOGIZE FOR YOUR RESPONSE AND SEEK  CLARIFICATION. Eph. 4:26-27 Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity to the devil. = – = Matt. 5:9  Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.	LET THIS BE PART OF HOW GOD IS CHANGING YOU. Php. 1:9-11  And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ; 11 having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.	LOVE YOUR ENEMIES. From 1 Cor. 13:4-7 Love is patient and kind… it is not irritable or resentful… Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. = – = Matt. 5:39  But I say to you, do not resist an evil person; but whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also.
